Easter 2019 at St Giles’ was a wonderful time to come and visit us. Our church looked beautiful and it was filled with music by our choir as well as from our special guests, the Brühler Bläserakademie wind orchestra from Germany. Even the weather was on our side and the sun shone through our stained glass windows to make Easter Day a truly glorious occasion for all.

Thank you to everyone who was involved – our flower arrangers, the cleaners, church wardens, Cuthbert and the serving team, soloists Matthew Duncan and Joe Giles, the choir and readers. And a particular special mention to our training choir who sang for the first time at St Giles’ – they were quite rightly rewarded by finding all 96 creme eggs in the Easter egg hunt!
