St Giles’ tries to be an integral part of the community of Camberwell. We welcome people of all faiths – and none – to our concerts, services and occasions.
We work closely with community groups, such as Camberwell Community Choir, Alcoholics Anonymous, St Giles’ Trust, The Borough Common and Southwark Refugee Communities Forum. We work with Southwark Council when we host civic events and Southwark Youth Orchestra workshops and you can even vote at St Giles’ on election days.
Throughout the year, we support charities through special events and we are very proud to offer long-term support to three local charities: Sunshine House (for young mothers and babies), The Foyer (to help young homeless people find a way back to independent living) and the Pecan Food Bank (to help needy people find nourishment).
